Banff Mountain Movie Festival
Banff is more than just the sound of Nightcrawler. It is also a town in Canada which runs a film festival during one week every year, aptly named the Banff Mountain Movie Festival.

Hultsfred the zombie festival
Hultsfredsfestivalen is the annual event that died last year but somehow got resurrected by the Scorpio necromancers to once more lay waste to the shores of lake Hulingen. Since the Arvika festival was canceled a few weeks ago, this is one of the few places left in Sweden for large outdoor festivals.
Das Boot to Tallinn
As our ship was leaving the port in Stockholm, we were getting ready for a weekend with Das Boot. This is an annual sort of festival, where the ship goes from to Stockholm to various places. This year the journey was going across the Baltic Sea to Tallinn.

Rammstein fires up Metaltown
The 2009 edition of Metaltown saw artists such as Marilyn Manson and Slipknot, but I was looking forward to this year, since it was time to finally be welcoming back the German fire monsters of Rammstein.

Best concerts of 2009
This year has seen a lot of concerts around the world, perhaps in some way related to the decrease in record sales which forces the artists to hit the roads. Regardless of the reason I estimate that I saw about 80 gigs during the year, and here are some of the highlights.
Sun and mud at Arvika festival
Arvikafestivalen is usually an uneasy mix of scorching sun and rain storms from hell. It doesn’t help with the heat that we’re all dressed in black and paler than Marilyn Manson, but just like last year there were moments of thunder rain inferno.
