Sun and mud at Arvikafestivalen
Arvikafestivalen has always been a gamble with the weather. You arrive expecting one thing and leave having survived another. One moment the Swedish sun is doing its best impression of the Sahara, baking thousands of pale Scandinavians dressed in black and paler than Marilyn Manson.
Metaltown 2009
Once again the Frihamnen pier is invaded by an army of metalheads dressed in black, making horn gestures in the air and drinking lukewarm beer. The annual Metaltown circus is back in town.

Just as Whitsun arrives each year, tens of thousands of people dressed in black also arrive to the the beautiful city of Leipzig. The annual Wave-Gotik-Treffen is one of the largest sub-culture events in the world.
SAMA 2006
Yesterday it was time once again for SAMA, the Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards. A yearly gathering where veterans, newcomers and dedicated fans of electronic music all end up under the same roof. As usual, it was an enjoyable blend of old favorites and fresh discoveries.
Report from Tinitus festival 2004
Tinitus has long been one of Sweden’s premier gatherings for devotees of electronic music, and once again Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm was packed with black-clad pilgrims ready to sacrifice the weekend to EBM and industrial beats.
