Yesterday I went to the 2006 edition of SAMA (Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards). It was, as expected, a pleasant mix of old and new. The initial lineup of De/Vision, Strasse and Sturm Café was finally boosted with Das Ich, VNV Nation, Iris, Spetsnaz and Seize.

The forests of Värmland were filled with people attending the annual Arvikafestivalen this weekend. One of the main attractions happened to be four old men from Germany, the legendary Kraftwerk. Florian Schneider brought a knitted hat and the radioactivity was there for you and me.
