This year has seen a lot of concerts around the world, perhaps in some way related to the decrease in record sales which forces the artists to hit the roads. Regardless of the reason I estimate that I saw about 80 gigs during the year, and here are some of the highlights.

Arvikafestivalen is usually an uneasy mix of scorching sun and rain storms from hell. It doesn’t help with the heat that we’re all dressed in black and paler than Marilyn Manson, but just like last year there were moments of thunder rain inferno.

It’s been a couple of years since last time, but it felt good to be back in the forest at Arvikafestivalen. The first days were scorchingly hot, but the last one surprised us all with a lightning storm that came from nowhere and almost swept the festival away.

The forests of Värmland were filled with people attending the annual Arvikafestivalen this weekend. One of the main attractions happened to be four old men from Germany, the legendary Kraftwerk. Florian Schneider brought a knitted hat and the radioactivity was there for you and me.
