There are some towns that tend to feel like your own backyard. You know the place inside and out, but every time you look there is something new that has popped up, joining the familiar.
Tonight I was back in Copenhagen. We roamed along known streets and unknown alleys. Visited old friends such as Mikkeller and Warpigs. The Vesterbro area is seedy as always, but I remember it being even worse 20 years ago. In comparison it feels better these days after all, and I suppose the gentrification is knocking hard on its door.
