EPiServer 6 released

Just a quick heads-up that EPiServer 6 was released today. Among the improvements is the awaited support for TinyMCE. Good job guys and all that, but please, why market the brand new product with this single screenshot:

Visual Studio screenshot

While I admire the courage to use an unmodified screenshot from Visual Studio, I just wish they would have taken greater care in the presented material. How many classic coding errors and markup issues can you find? At least I smiled at the “SmartAss Integration” (please say it’s an early Easter egg).

Unfortunately the best part is that this promotional screenshot is actually from another product, it appears to be a MasterPage template from EPiServer Community.

But enough with the bashing. A new version is here so download it now and get started!
