Arvikafestivalen goes floodland
It’s been a couple of years since last time, but it felt good to be back in the forest at Arvikafestivalen. The first days were scorchingly hot, but the last one surprised us all with a lightning storm that came from nowhere and almost swept the festival away.
The last Romo Night
When Romo Night first opened its doors in 1996, it was a modest electronic music club at the student venue Kåren. A few years later, in 2003, it had outgrown its original home and moved to the larger Trägår’n.
The last SAMA
The first SAMA (Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards) took place in 1998. Ten years later, it was time to gather one last time and say goodbye. More than just another festival, the evening felt like a reunion with an old circle of friends.
