Best movies of 2005
This year has been a lot more predictable than the ethereal 2004 with several eagerly awaited titles. Unfortunately there aren’t any real surprises here, except that I actually liked Corpse Bride better than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. These are my nominees, including links to my reviews in Swedish:
- Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
- Sin City
- Crash
- Constantine (don’t forget to catch up on the Hellblazer albums)
- Batman Begins
- Corpse Bride
- Howl’s Moving Castle
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
- Kingdom of Heaven (look for the recut edition with 45 extra minutes)
- The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Honorary mention goes out to King Kong, War of the Worlds and Brothers Grimm, who fought well but didn’t quite make it to the top. My reviews in Swedish are available by the links.

Jag håller med Sofia. Hur kan du ha Narnia som bara nr 10? Den var inte jättebra, men ändå miltals bättre än Revenge of the Sith.

Viss inkonsistens här änna va: Du har potter som nummer 6, och Grimm som honorable mention, men i dissnigarna fick potter 3 och grimm 4. Å andra sidan kanske det är olika laddning på fluktarspöken och glupska vargar, men ändå..? ;)
Det skulle kunna vara ett medvetet val av en senil recensent för att förvilla den noggranne läsaren, men i det här fallet beror det nog på att jag ibland ändrar uppfattning med tiden efter att ha sett om filmerna några gånger.
