Mink Machine

Best movies of 2005

This year has been a lot more predictable than the ethereal 2004 with several eagerly awaited titles. Unfortunately there aren’t any real surprises here, except that I actually liked Corpse Bride better than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. These are my nominees, including links to my reviews in Swedish:

  1. Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
  2. Sin City
  3. Crash
  4. Constantine (don’t forget to catch up on the Hellblazer albums)
  5. Batman Begins
  6. Corpse Bride
  7. Howl’s Moving Castle
  8. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
  9. Kingdom of Heaven (look for the recut edition with 45 extra minutes)
  10. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Honorary mention goes out to King Kong, War of the Worlds and Brothers Grimm, who fought well but didn’t quite make it to the top. My reviews in Swedish are available by the links.

Bring on the dissning.

Som min gamle hjälmpolare skulle sagt, “I find your lack of faith disturbing”.
