I’m back from the festival in Hultsfred, an annual event that died last year but got resurrected by the Scorpio necromancers to once more lay waste to the shores of lake Hulingen. Since Arvika festival was canceled a few weeks ago, this was one of the few places left in Sweden for festival concerts.
Roaming through Banff
"Even though the main town is surrounded by mountains with names such as Sulphur Mountain, it is as far away from Mordor as one could imagine."
Alone in Kyoto
"I tried my best to sneak across the building, but the floor revealed me each time. I suppose I would make a lousy ninja."
Roaming the cobblestones of Istanbul
"Inside the church there are still traces of rune inscriptions made during the Viking age by Varangians, an elite guard made up of Scandinavian immigrant warriors."
Road trip across the American Southwest
"We drove along Route 6, Route 66 and Route 666. If there was a Route 6666, we must have missed that turn."
Getting lost in Yazd
"Navigating on random while surrounded by staring old men, pointing their crooked fingers at the Godzilla Viking in surprise. It feels like I’m walking around in Mos Eisley."
Chilling in Chile
"My weary feet has reached Valparaiso. After almost a month of traveling across the South American continent I realize that this is as far south as I will come, due to weather conditions."
