My weary feet has reached Valparaiso. After almost a month of traveling across the South American continent I realize that this is as far south as I will come, due to weather conditions (yeah, it’s winter down there). Dear Patagonia, I will say hello another time.
Getting lost in Yazd
"Navigating on random while surrounded by staring old men, pointing their crooked fingers at the Godzilla Viking in surprise. It feels like I’m walking around in Mos Eisley."
A journey through Iran
"I woke up freezing on a Persian rug with aching back. Behind a corner I saw the damned rooster that kept me awake during many hours."
Alone in Kyoto
"I tried my best to sneak across the building, but the floor revealed me each time. I suppose I would make a lousy ninja."
Roaming the cobblestones of Istanbul
"Inside the church there are still traces of rune inscriptions made during the Viking age by Varangians, an elite guard made up of Scandinavian immigrant warriors."
I still love you, New York
"Now I’m back and our roles are somewhat reversed. Like River Song and the Doctor, we meet again under different circumstances."
Vineyards of southern France
"Not far from Sauternes is the village of Saint-Émilion, also a famous wine region but what got me hooked was their impressive limestone caves."
