SAMA lineup gets a boost

SAMA 2006 (Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards) just got a boost as Das Ich, VNV Nation, Iris, Spetsnaz and Seize has joined the lineup of De/Vision, Strasse and Sturm Café.

Last year’s edition of SAMA was sadly less than satisfactory so I skipped it, but this lineup is a lot better. Stefan and Pontus of dynamic duo Spetsnaz will shake the foundations of the building, Iris will do better than their great Swedish debut two years ago at Arvikafestivalen, VNV won’t need the cheat sheet from Tinitus and I’m really looking forward to Das Ich. See you on the concrete floor on April 14!

While on the topic of awards, congrats to my friends in Thermostatic for being among the nominees for both SAMA 2006 and Manifest 2006, one year after the legendary live debut at Spacelab. Well done!
