SAMA 2006 lineup gets a boost

The 2006 edition of SAMA (Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards) just got a boost as Das Ich, VNV Nation, Iris, Spetsnaz and Seize has joined the lineup of De/Vision, Strasse and Sturm Café.

The lineup for last year’s edition of SAMA was sadly less than satisfactory so I skipped it, but this lineup is a lot better. VNV Nation will be even better than their Tinitus gig, Stefan and Pontus of dynamic duo Spetsnaz will get everybody dancing, Iris will top their great Swedish debut two years ago at Arvikafestivalen and I’m really looking forward to seeing Das Ich and Sturm Café once again. See you on the concrete floor on April 14!

Bruno Kramm of Das Ich had a bit of bad luck with the computers, but his hairstyle was on point as always.

While on the topic of awards, congrats to Thermostatic for being among the nominees for both SAMA 2006 and Manifest 2006, one year after their legendary live debut at Spacelab.
