Burt Reynolds for king

Uwe Boll is back with another computer game movie adaption. Maybe some of you remember the fairly decent game Dungeon Siege, a sword-and-sorcery tale with the usual ingredients. Currently in pre-production, it will start shooting next week with the new title In the Name of the King.

Boll has managed to get a very mixed cast for this one: The excellent Jason Statham, impressive John Rhys-Davies, ever-cool Ron Perlman, hot Kristanna Loken, and… frikkin’ Burt Reynolds as the king!

Burt is back. May heaven show mercy to us.

Since the director also has announced that he will film the adaption of FPS game Far Cry, the bets are on. Who will play the main lead? Chevy Chase? Dan Aykroyd? Or how about Bud Spencer, in his Banana Joe outfit?
