Why does the box say 1977/1980/1983 when it’s actually the special editions from 1997?

I remember the old days when young people sat hooked in front of a TV screen manually copying a lot of assembly code from a printed listing in a magazine. Just imagine typing thousands of lines like “DATA 0E, 1F, 3C, 2D, 45, 2F, 63, 3A, 0F, 21, 54, 8F, FF, FE, 31, A0” and so on. I was one of them.
